NIGERIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY IS FILLED WITH NOISY AND MEANINGLESS MUSIC

Everyone will like to say Nigerian music industry is growing, Nigerian music is sweet to the ear, Nigerian musicians are making money.
One of the problem with Nigeria is that we are sentimental and we support mediocrity.
98% of  Nigerian Music lack Lyrical content, They just say rubbish and hook it up with a nice beat and when you try to tell the person beside you that the song doesn’t make sense, they will reply by saying, atleast they are making their money, and that is a major problem.
Most of us know this songs are terrible but as long as it is played in clubs, bars and parties we feel its good.
Most Nigerian musicians don’t make music because they have passion for it, they make music to make money, I know now that some people will read this paragraph and say; off course they should do it for money.
When Adele sang Hello, Nigerian musicians ran to the studio to cover the song, the question is why?    They know its good music with good lyrical content.  Have you ever seen a Nigerian artist covering a Nigerian song? No, because they know they are wack and terrible musicians.

Do we have singers in Nigeria?
DO we have rappers in Nigeria?

Before you answer that, think deeply of a good singer, that sings and a good rapper that raps, you will realize that there are none. The so called rappers now sing to make money and the singers just say words like; baby shake it, hernessy eh, I don hammer, baba god do am for me or my haters or bad belle e.t.c.

If you are having a romantic moment with your lover, you can never play a Nigerian music because they are all noisy.

How do we rate good music in Nigeria?
According to our stupid and useless ideology, once a song is been played in the club, then it’s a good song. Nigerians always think of dancing and forget to use their brain.

If you list the top 10 Nigerian songs of 2016, you will see that the lyrics don’t make sense. What we listen to in Nigeria is the beat and if a dance is attached to the song.

I see Kcee acting as a judge in star quest and I ask myself, what right or what qualification does he have to be a judge on a music talent show, if someone sings one of his song the way he sings them would he give the person a pass mark? When African musicians remixed Michael Jackson`s We are the One because of the xenophobia thing,  Kcee`s part was the worst, I felt ashamed for him and what was don jazzy looking for in that kind of song?

What kind of Music does ice prince make?  Is he a rapper or a singer? To me he is back to being an upcoming artist, he sang a song about mandela, I mean what rubbish.
People will open their mouth and say Techno is a good singer, but does his lyrics make any sense? That’s why this old politicians don’t take the youths seriously because we are full of crap, we love crap and our attitudes are crappy.
Before I forget someone should tell D`prince to go and look for another career, its not by force, he has always been a terrible and he still is a terrible musician, or he should open a shop and do business…lol

We need to start making good music in Nigeria, If you want to relax you can never listen to Nigerian music because its noisy, what they sell to us is the beat because their lyrics and vocals are trash.
Lets not deceive ourselves that we can sell this music globally, a white man can not make sense out of it.
When this artist shout and brag about how they  shut down a show in a foreign country I laugh because the truth is that when a Nigerian artist go for shows abroad, you will hardly see a white person at the event center, it will be filled with Nigerians that are based in that country, but If a foreign artist comes to Nigeria, the show will be filled with Nigerians.

TILL WHITE PEOPLE START RUSHING FOR NIGERIAN ARTIST CONCERT ABROAD, NO NIGERIAN  ARTIST SHOULD BRAG ABOUT SHUTTING DOWN A SHOW ABROAD.
